Our story
A Bakersfield Shop Built on Word of Mouth
We are a family-run upholstery shop on Niles St, and most of our customers find us the same way: someone they trust sent them our way. Whether it is a couch cushion that lost its shape, an RV seat that needs new life, or a desk chair with a repair nobody else wanted to touch, we take the job on and get it right.
Our shop is a working space full of fabric, foam, and finished pieces waiting to go home. We like the tricky projects, the ones that need real problem solving before the first stitch goes in, and we take the time to match materials and craftsmanship to what the piece deserves.
Customers keep coming back because the work holds up and looks right the first time.

What customers say
“As always, they did a Awesome job on our RV.”
“I took in a broken seat to a very expensive desk chair. The repair was not an easy one, but they managed to fix it and I cannot thank them enough. As a person who spends a lot of time at my desk, the chair is very essential to back support and proper posture. Thank you for your service.”
“I found the Fabric Center Upholstery via word of mouth. I am happy to report they did an AMAZING job. What I asked of them was not easy. Would definitely recommend and will take future projects to them.”
